The forging process is not the forging of the die, but the complete riveting of the workpiece through the release of striking energy under the premise of no mould and limit. Therefore, the energy control must be accurate to ensure the consistency of the workpiece riveting. The equipment capability index CMK is required to be more than 1.67. Through domestic comparison, investigation and test, j58sz servo direct drive screw press was finally selected for torsion bar forging.
